Feel free to reach out with any questions or to learn more. Private Firearms Lesson - (2 Hours) This private lesson is tailored to your current needs and covers both handgun and rifle. It introduces or reintroduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for safely owning and using a pistol or rifle. Throughout the course, students will learn about the parts and operation of pistols and rifles, ammunition, gun safety, shooting fundamentals, and practical shooting activities. Please note that the price for this lesson is $150 per person and does not include live fire, which is available at an additional cost. Topics covered will include an overview of the laws regarding possession and concealed carry, the basics of deadly force, avoidance of deadly force, de-escalation, and civil and criminal liability. You'll also learn about firearm maintenance, the four basic safety rules, range safety, home firearms safety, and the elements of pistol marksmanship. Practical application will consist of weapons handling, presentation, holstering or slinging/low ready for shotguns, and basic weapons qualification. Sessions will include classroom instruction, weapons handling, and practical applications using our immersive and realistic firearms range and personal defense simulator.
