Feel free to reach out with any questions or to learn more. Private Firearms Lesson - ( 2 Hours) Private Lesson Tailored To Your Current Need. Includes Handgun and Shotgun. Introduces or re-introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol or shotgun safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol and shotgun parts and their operation as well as ammunition, gun safety, pistol and shotgun shooting fundamentals, and pistol and shotgun shooting activities. This course will include lecture, weapons handling and firearm simulator fire. Live fire at additional cost. Topics covered will be the laws regarding possession for home and the concealed carrying of the firearm. Basics on the laws and standards regarding the use of deadly force, avoidance of deadly force, the de-escalation of force and civil and criminal liability, firearm maintenance, four basic firearms safety rules, range safety, home firearms safety, the elements of pistol marksmanship. Practical application will consist of weapons handling, weapons presentation, holstering or slinging/low ready for shotgun and weapons qualification. Session is classroom, weapons handling and practical application with the use of our Immersive and Realistic Firearms Range and Personal Defense Simulator.
